request for Friendly game At the baytown soccer complex
BSYSC encourages friendly games for all BSYSC teams, as it helps with player, team and coach development, and welcomes friendly games at the baytown soccer complex. Although Friendly games are meant for fun and development, BSYSC expects participating teams to follow all the rules, regulations, and code of conduct set forth by stysa and bsysc.
This includes:
coaching staff wearing their kidsafe card.
Only kidsafe card holding coaching staff and players on team side of the field.
parents, fans and non kidsafe card holders on the spectator side of the field.
any reported violation(s) will be refered to the BSYSC D&P for review
Friendly games during the off season:
ANy coach, assistant coach or team manager wishing to host a friendly game at the baytown soccer complex, is required to submit a request.
Requests must be submitted a minimum of one (1) week prior to the friendly game date. Requests submitted less than one (1) week prior to the friendly game date will be denied. No Exceptions.
once the request has been submitted, field coordinator will review the request. Incomplete request forms will not be reviewed and will be immediately denied.
Once the request has been reviewed, Field coordinator will notify the requesting coach, assistant coach or team manager of request approval or denial.
if request is approved:
field coordinator will assign a field.
the friendly game will be confirmed once it has been added to the calendar.
FEES:
NON BSYSC REQUESTING TEAMS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $50.00 FIELD RESERVATION FEE
FIELD STRIPPING IS OPTIONAL. IF FIELD STRIPPING IS REQUIRED, THE STRIPPING FEE IS $40.00
REFEREES ARE OPTIONAL. IF REFEREES ARE REQUIRED, BSYSC WILL ASSIST IN SCHEDULING REFEREES. REFEREE FEE RANGE FROM $35.00 TO $65.00 PER REFEREE
Friendly games during Season practice:
Friendly games between a BSYSC team and a non-BSYSC team or between two non-BSYSC teams, will not be played during any BSYSC practice days or once the season officially begins. NO EXCEPTIONS.
if two bsysc teams wish to play a friendly game and both teams share the same practice field, a request is not required.
if two bsysc teams wish to play a friendly game but do not share the same practice field, a request is not required, but the coaches are required to make arragments with the other coach(es) for the use of the field. (example: team 1 & team 2 practice on field 1. team 3 & team 4 practice on field 2. team 1 and team 3 wish to play a friendly game but because they practice of different fields, coach 1 or coach 3 are required to ask coach 2 or coach 4, permission to switch fields for the friendly game)
if coach 2 or coach 4 agree to the switch, the friendly game can be played.
if coach 2 or coach 4 do not agree to the switch, the friendly game will not be played.
