Rules and Regulations
Uniform Usage:
Uniforms shall be worn only to games, NOT to practices.
Practice attire:
Players are responsible for brining proper training attire to every practice.
Shirt – Red
Shorts – Red
Socks – Red
Soccer Cleats/Shin Guards:
Soccer Cleats are not required for U6-U8 players; tennis shoes can be worn.
Verify shoe size with uniform socks to ensure proper fit.
Shin guards are required for both practice and games.
Shin guards should not be showing at any time.
Players cannot play without shin guards – NO EXCEPTIONS.
Hydration :
Disposable water bottles are not allowed in the Baytown Soccer Complex.
All Players shall have a sizable water jug for practices and games.
All Players shall have water readily available during practices and games.
Snacks:
Coaches will assign a specific number of parent(s) a day to bring a drink and or snack after the games.
Snacks shall consist of: Water, Gatorade. Fruit and Gummies (Please refrain from brining nuts due to allergies).
Practices:
Coaches shall provide a schedule in the following format. Please contact your Coach.
Practice is on ________________(day) at _________________(location) at ______(time).
Please take your child to the restroom before practice.
Parents shall communicate to their Coach kids availability to attend practice at least 1 hr. before practice if unable to attend.
Games:
Games shall be on Monday nights at 6:00.
Players shall be present at their game field at least 30 minutes before game time to make sure everyone is there and warmed up to play.
Players and Parents have designated sitting areas.
All Players shall sit in the player areas and all parents shall sit in the parents area NO EXCEPTIONS.
Game Field Setup:
Coaches shall coordinate with their parents to setup the goals and field flags prior to the games.
Home teams shall place goals and flags before game.
Away team shall remove goals and flags after game.
All equipment shall be returned to the storage container for safe keeping.
Kid Safe Card:
Only BSYSC Volunteers with a valid “Kid Safe Card” (background check) are allowed to interact with BSYSC players during practices and games.
Parents who would like to participate in practices and games shall go through a background check and get an approved “Kid Safe Card”.
Parents who violate this policy will be removed from practices and games.
