BSYSC in BAYSA
Congratulations to all teams that started their season this weekend playing in the BAYSA League event. I hope everyone had a great competitive weekend and got to enjoy this great game of Soccer.
Remember that BSYSC Philosophy is not concentrate on winning all of the time, but on developing the necessary fundamental skills to grow and develop your Soccer skills to their full potential.
BAYTOWN SAINTS YOUTH SOCCER CLUB PHILOSOPHY IS THAT: BSYSC FOCUS IS THE DEVELOPMENT OF FUNDAMENTAL SOCCER SKILLS THAT WILL BE UTILIZED DURING THE CAREER OF ALL BSYSC PLAYERS IN THE SHORT AND LONG TERM. BSYSC IS NOT FOCUSED ON SHORT TERM GAINS SUCH AS SCORE COUNT, TROPHIES, WINNING, OR LOSING GAMES. BSYSC COACHES' MAIN FOCUS SHALL BE PROVIDING BSYSC PLAYERS A SERIOUS, PROFESSIONAL, AND COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH PLAYERS CAN GROW. BSYSC COACHES SHALL BE AN EXAMPLE FOR THEIR PLAYERS, AS IT RELATES TO THE DISCIPLINE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, ETHICAL AND MORAL BEHAVIOR, WELLNESS, SOCCER FUNDAMENTALS AND BSYSC PHILOSOPHY. BSYSC COACHES SHALL BE GUIDED BY OUR PHILOSOPHY AND CODE OF ETHICS AT ALL TIMES WHILE PARTICIPATING AT BSYSC.
Practices and Field Allocation Schedule
I hope all BSYSC teams have established their practice schedules and are hard at working on their individual skills and team cohesion. The practice Field Allocation is up to date and all Teams should be have a place to practice.

Registration
Registration has been officially closed since February 28th. If you are having issues with your Registration please contact our Registrar at Registrar@baytownsaints.org
Uniforms
We continue to hand uniforms out to our Coaches and they in turn are working on making them available to all their players.
Uniforms were purchased with the size information provided during registration. If you are having issues with your uniform please contact our Treasurer at Treasurer@baytownsaints.org
U7/U8 Equipment / Field Setup
There will be an orientation meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday (5:30 pm) of this week. BSYSC will discuss Equipment Locations, Field Setup and Stripping.
Coaches can attend the orientation meeting or have their parents attend to get instructions.
Game Reports (Score Cards)
For BSYSC playing BAYSA score cards will be collected by referees after the game. Please make sure to check the score and sign the Game Report (Score Card) on the correct side. Once a Coach has made these checks please take a picture of the Game Report (Score Card) for your records. You should see the scores reflected the day after on the BAYSA scheduling/standing event page.

If you don’t see your score reflected on this page please send an email to our Score Keeper at Scorekeeper@baytownsaints.org and he will follow up with BAYSA’s Score Keeper.
For BSYSC playing in the Independence Event (Barbers Hill) and for those playing in the East Lake Event all Game reports and Score cards should be dropped off at the Drop Box at the Baytown Soccer Complex after the game or no later than Monday. Please make sure to check the score, sign the Game Report (Score Card) on the correct side and snap a picture for your records before you turn it in. Our Score keeper will pick up the cards no Later than Tuesday and Input the Scores.

BSYSC will follow the STYSA Covid Protocol for the Spring 2021 Season.

Discipline and Protest
Everyone in Baytown Saints Youth Soccer Club is a volunteer and everyone is expected to follow BSYSC Norms, Guidelines and Ethical Codes.
